The Proposed 560 km rail development linking Jack Hills and future iron ore mines of the mid-west to the Oakajee Port was referred to the EPA on 16th October, 2009. The level of assessment has been set at a Public Environmental Review with a 4 week public review period.

ecologia has completed the initial flora and fauna investigations along rail route, and the environmental impact assessment is anticipated to be complete by the end of December 2009.
