A description of Tetratheca erubescens (Elaeocarpaceae), a new and geographically restricted species from the Coolgardie Biogeographic Region by Jerome Bull (a former ecologia botanist) has been published. This species is rare and endangered (Declared Rare Flora - DRF) and endemic to the remote and ironstone-rich Koolyanobbing Range. Jerome discovered the species while undertaking ecologia flora survey work for Portman Mining in 2002.
