ecologia Environment will not compromise on safety. Everyone is accountable for their own safety and that of their team members. Rigorous ongoing risk assessments and project-specific safety management plans are an important part of what we do. Our field safety procedures include; - Pre-mobilisation risk assessments and review of management procedures, agreed upon by all relevant group members;
- Project-specific health, safety & environment (HSE) plans;
- Training personnel in first aid , four-wheel / defensive driving , equipment use and fauna handling;
- Ongoing field safety checks and communication procedures;
- Post-field debrief to identify changes required to equipment or work procedures.
To ensure accountability in all these areas, task-independent senior ecologia staff regularly spot-audit procedures in both the office and the field.
